Indie School Salisbury is an independent alternative high school for students in Year 9 to 12 located north-east from the CBD of Adelaide. The school’s philosophy is built from a strengths-based and trauma-informed model. Through the focus on individual strengths our teachers and support staff foster student agency to increase engagement with learning and the wider community. Our teaching, welfare and support staff work in concert with each other to ensure our students’ wellbeing needs are being met consistently.

The school is well known in the local community and participates in several community-based events. Our students are encouraged to celebrate their belonging to our community, celebrate their own and their peers’ successes, and connect with our wider community base. Our students have access to excellent careers, academic and support networks.
