Learner Wellbeing

Indie School welfare support

Wellbeing is key to the success of the Indie School program. Full-time welfare staff provide enrolment advice, support and referral services, and deliver in-class health and wellbeing programs.

Learners are encouraged to speak with their School’s onsite Welfare Officer, who is available to support learners and assist with any concerns or issues they may have.

safe and inclusive

Indie School is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all learners, where they feel valued and respected.

At Indie School, the wellbeing and welfare of students is paramount for student learning and growth.

We know that when learners are happy, valued, connected, and supported, they are more engaged with their learning.

helping learners achieve their potential

As well as providing enrolment advice, our welfare staff foster an understanding and encouraging environment at our schools, incorporating positive mental health approaches.

Welfare Officers provide service referrals and deliver wellbeing programs that not only bolster the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of our learners, but also fosters resilience, self-confidence, and emotional intelligence, enabling learners to reach their potential.
