Indie School Midland is an independent alternative high school in eastern Perth.

Welcome to Indie School Midland, a Curriculum and Re-engagement in Education (CARE) School, offering flexible delivery of curriculum to re-engage students in a safe and welcoming environment with learning that is meaningful.

Our school is located at the Old Midland Railway Office site. Our beautiful heritage listed building at 60 Yelverton Drive Midland 6056 was established in 1904 and currently educates and supports the wellbeing of 110 students from Yr 9 - 12.

At Indie, we offer a variety of learning options. Indie College is our onsite Registered Training Organisation that delivers both VET in Schools and Let's Go Out of Class Program. VET in schools program provide industry specific courses that students undertake in school from Yr 10 - 12. Let's Go offers national qualifications and recognised accredited courses that contribute towards the completion of the Learners secondary schooling certificate. The courses delivered are nationally recognised qualifications within the Australian Qualifications Framework. The training that Learners receive is delivered by experienced and qualified Coaches (Trainer and Assessors).

Our biggest achievement to date is seeing the smiling faces of our students as they walk into school each day after having not attended previous schools after many months or years. The learning environment conducive to students' achievement and engagement through our processes and practices. We have students who were illiterate and within 6 months write a paragraph.

We have our first cohort of Yr 11 students successfully complete Unit 1 & 2 West Australian Certificate of Education with 100 % Graduation anticipated in 2023.
